Dudes, I'm graduating high school. Huzzah! Though ultimately it will be a milestone of little import, it is a milestone nonetheless.

Color's a tricky business. :/ It might help to read up on the color wheel, the basic color schemes, but really, the biggest thing is practice and trial and error. Someone told me this a while ago, and it really helped a lot: when shading colors, pull the hue a little towards red or purple. When highlighting, pull the hue a little towards yellow.
